I came to Karen as someone terrified of flying, needing a travel agent who would be willing to support me and accommodate my needs. From that very first trip in 2015, she has gone above and beyond every time - nothing is ever a hassle, no job is too small, no request too complicated. Karen has helped rebook flights at short notice, secured preferred seats and airlines, and planned circuitous routes with short hops to accommodate my fear of flying when other agents refused.

She is so easy to deal with and her prices are better than any I can secure. Eight years on and I now love flying. Karen opened the world for me and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

We have been using Karen for a number of years now as our travel agent and have found her to be extremely helpful and most accomodating with organising our travel. She knows what kind of things we like and expect and as a result makes really appropriate suggestions. Sometimes there is a considerable amount of conversations and emails going back and forth before a decision is made and Karen is always happy to do this in order to ensure our holiday is perfect.

I also feel comfortable that if something unforeseen goes wrong while overseas that she is just an email away and trust that she will do her best to resolve the situation.

We had a fabulous time overseas. All your arrangements on our behalf worked perfectly. Your suggestion for the Park Plaza Victoria, Amsterdam was a great choice. We walked from Euro Star terminal to hotel with no trouble and boarded Scenic river cruise on the other side of the terminal with ease.

Whilst we had heard only good things about Scenic, our experience on board was well above our expectations. Our Cruise Director, Renata made each day special with her vast knowledgeable and enthusiasm. All crew members were exemplary in their service delivery and nothing was too much trouble. The catering and beverages were exceptional. The excursions were great, sometimes hard to choose one over the other. There were usually three levels of tours that allowed for the most active to the ones who preferred minimal walking. The guides were first class, all very knowledgable in the subject. Of special note, Scenic's enrichment activities were exceptional.

As first time river cruisers, Scenic has set a high benchmark for us. We will certainly consider travelling with Scenic again!

Vietnam was an incredible experience filled with very memorable moments made easy with Karen’s assistance with booking our holiday. I felt extremely comfortable travelling alone for the first time as everything was ready and organised perfectly by Karen. We had some really amazing tours booked including Ha Long Bay which Karen said was something we couldn’t miss, she was absolutely right as it was one of the most beautiful sceneries we have seen. Our tour guides on the trip were always on time and doing the very most at pleasing us and giving us the best opportunities in each spot. Our tour guide had an incredible idea to make the most of bad weather and get an incredible photo on the Golden Hands Bridge at Ba Na Hills completely empty, which never happens.

We really appreciate everything Karen has done to organise this amazing holiday and highly recommended her work and knowledge.

We had the most amazing holiday. It was so amazing to take in the beautiful, everychanging landscape the Northern Territory has to offer. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful and appreciated in many different settings. Our highlights were definitely the full day Litchfield National Park tour and the two day Kakadu National Park tours. The company we chose were excellent, the small group experience was just what we needed and allowed us to experience those amazing places intimately. We particularly enjoyed the Yellow Waters Cruise at sunrise and the Aligator River Cruise which was hosted by local Indigenous people who were both informative and passionate about the country we were visiting. Our accommodation at Ayers Rock resort was amazing and all the tours we had organised were fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the Segway Tour around Uluru and we ended our holiday with a camel ride which was fantastic. Thank you so much for organising a high energy, culturally enlightening, majestic family holiday which we will remember always.

With limited time to plan a holiday, Seaside Travel took all the stress out of planning a holiday and delivered tailored accommodation and experiences. We just had to turn up for a great holiday! Incredible, couldn’t be happier.

What an easy going, intriguing and stunningly vibrant holiday location.

In a country where 3000 of their 4000 years they have been ruled by others besides themselves, Vietnam represents an opportunity to learn about a history very foreign to us in Australia . From pagodas , to temples , to stunning French architecture , histories of emporers and conquerers . Food glorious food. A mix for all tastes and budgets . Wonderful , friendly locals and great value for money .

We enjoyed all that Vietnam and her people have to offer .

I spent three and a half weeks in Ireland in July/August 2024. Part of my trip was self drive, two weeks was an organised tour. All bookings done by Karen went without a hitch - flights, accommodation, hire car and more. Everything went smoothly, without a hitch. Karen has been my travel agent since 2020. I was in Florida when Covid-19 hit the world. The work she did while no doubt being inundated by travellers cannot be appreciated enough!

Hurtigruten was beyond our expectations! The Coastal Express sailing through picturesque fjords along the Norwegian coastline offered charming hamlets and the magnificent Northern Lights.

We had the best time with great experiences, that put us way beyond our comfort zone in many cases. Hurtigruten tour was outstanding. Great value for money.

We would recommend Emerald for anyone looking at doing a river cruise. The trip itself was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the river cruise as it was relaxed, and you could be as active or as lazy as you wanted. Alcohol with lunch and dinner is sufficient without taking the extra package deal. Having the bikes on this cruise was a bonus, I believe not all cruises offer this.

Amazing Antarctica, too many pics but so much majesty, grandeur and beauty, it’s hard to choose just what to post. Everything went really quite well. We were extremely fortunate weather-wise - smooth sailing not much wind , bit hazy in Antarctica but still got some good pics.

Thank you so much for all your help with our Pitcairn trip - everything went smoothly and we all wanted to let you know we had a great time.

Pitcairn is somewhere that you would only go to once. It was a long hard slog to get to and getting around wasn't easy either. We had to rely on the family we rented from to get us around on their quad bikes. Day one we were buggered from the two nights on the Silvery Supporter so we were so tired and basically went to the store (which opens three days of the week [thankfully the day we arrived] for one hour only) to get some food for our stay, had a shower (there was NO way you could shower on that container ship) and collapse. Day 2 there was a cruise ship in, so the locals were all selling their wares, day 3 was raining so we only really had a half day to look around and day 4 we spent the morning looking at the sights we missed the day before then we were off home again.

Thanks again for organising our fabulous holiday! The castle is in the Thousand islands region (which we found very beautiful) of the St Lawrence river.

We visited a re-enactment type village near Fairmont, Alaska. The Alaskan cruise was wonderful, especially around Glacier bay Alaska.

Amazing trip and very well organised! Here are some highlight picks from our recent Canada trip.

Our ship Regency Seven Seas ~ Absolute Magic. The Rocky Mountaineer journey, and then a relaxing self-drive along the Icefields Highway. Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, Lake Louise, Athabasca Glacier and the beautiful river in Banff ~ stunning places.

We had an amazing holiday! Everything was so organised and such an easy travel experience.

I was contacted via WhatsApp with clear instruction for airport transfers. The Jetstar flight over was slightly delayed on the tarmac, but otherwise no complaints - you get what you pay for! We went through customs in a matter of minutes so was great!

Gracelands Resort Phuket was amazing! Apparently it was booked out, but on numerous occasions we had the main pool to ourselves! Rooms were clean, spacious and absolutely loved the interconnecting rooms. Buffet breakfast was superb! We also ate at the restaurants a few times and they were well priced and great food options. Had 2 happy hour time slots so this worked out well also on days we had activities elsewhere.

Location was central, yet felt private. Our rooms were away from the main road, so feel if closer to the pool may have been noisy. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and other conveniences.

A huge thank you to Karen for organising our incredible trip through RAW Travel to walk the Camino de Santiago from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela. From start to finish, everything ran so smoothly thanks to her wonderful planning and attention to detail.

Karen took care of all the arrangements — from our flights to Spain to the seamless train connections from Madrid to Sarria — making the logistics effortless so we could simply enjoy the journey.

Over eight unforgettable days, we walked 120 kilometres through beautiful countryside, charming villages, and historic towns. It was truly a wonderful experience — both physically rewarding and deeply meaningful.

As you can imagine, we had an amazing holiday. We were very happy to note that all of our arrangements and schedules during the whole trip flowed like clockwork. The Qantas flight was excellent and Emirates return, while not as quality as Qantas, was very good and manageable.

The River cruise was terrific and destination stops along the way were beautiful and interesting. The boat, crew and food were very good too. Overall, 10 out of 10. Photos...Switzerland on the last day of summer, canoeing on the Rhine, Swans and vineyards galore, castles, cathedrals and canals. Beautiful .

Long trips to Europe that include 4 countries and a river cruise are not something I enjoy arranging myself.
